Noelle Fries is an artist based in Brooklyn and the Hudson Valley, NY who has worked as a health equity practitioner for more than 15 years. She holds degrees in Race, Gender, and Sexuality (BA, Mills College) and Community Health (MPH, CUNY School of Public Health). Noelle has exhibited in group shows in San Francisco, New York City, and at The Wellcome Collection museum in London. Her work was published in Celebrate People’s History: The Poster Book of Resistance and Revolution (2nd ed).

Inspired by a profound devotion to nature, community, and justice, she is exploring a wide variety of mediums — currently photo, clay, and drawing — to amplify beauty and foster (personal and collective) healing. Noelle is currently immersed in an MFA program in Integrated Practices at Pratt Institute.
